Yoga and Mindfulness

Yoga & Mindfulness…this is a combination class, which focuses on mindfulness—from the perspective of yoga and meditation.  The session offers basic yoga instruction to lengthen, strengthen and make space in the body for meditation. Yoga postures are grounded in mindfulness and awareness. Conversely, the meditation practice is grounded in the body. Practicing meditation in this way helps deepen mindfulness, concentration, and can help bring awareness to patterns of thought and habits.  This class works for everyone: people who are new to yoga or meditation, and for people who have an ongoing practice in either lineages.
